Whats it's all about...

Over the coming months in the countdown to the festival this blog will be your reference point, a mecca if you will, for all the goings on, latest news and accurate line up information as soon as it comes in.

For those of you who don't know (and believe me you should) here is a little bit of information about the festival itself.

Returning for its third year Live at Leeds is an inner-city mini festival taking over Leeds on the Saturday 2nd May. Consider it a showcase for local and national talent and excuse to have a right bloody good knees up.

Previous years have seen the likes Metronomy, The Rascals and Wild Beasts gracing favourite Leeds digs such as the Cockpit, the Faversham and the Brudenell Social Club. Last years event culminated in two sold out Pigeon Detectives shows at Millenium Square.

This year already is shaping up to be equal if not greater on the awesomeness scale. The line up - tentatively being formulated ready for the first official announcement on Wednesday 11th February - is looking bigger, better and more banging than ever before yet wristband prices remain at the bargainous price of just 10 english pounds.

Some sneaky journalists managed to get hold of some juicy inside information and only went and published it on the web - here's what they said:

Clash Music
NME

Remember keep checking this blog for the official, hot off the press goss. Also expect to see exclusive mp3's, videos and other bits and bobs that we manage to blag off those 'orrible management types...

Much love

Matt
